Default okay i got talked into a f14 on a 114lsa

i was thinking f13 on 112lsa... and tehy start talking about 4000 stalls, but im spraying i say, so alan tells the guy if im going to go with a 3500-3800 stall eventually get teh f14, adn put it on a 114lsa... lol havn't seen many of these cams around, i got it +4 advance, lining up dot to dot..

where do ya'll think this cam will peak at for me? and how do i set it up to shift on spray.. do i shift it at 6k when the spray shuts off, and shift it like 6600 on motor, or do i just cut the spray off at 6000 and let her run for 600rpms on motor before it shifts? will the 114 sound as good as an f13 on a 112? any input would be great asap.. i trust them, but if someone sees a hole in what im doing let me know.. i got talked into going a lil bigger then i might have otherwise gone.

How soon will you be running?

I don't have any answers, but I'm looking at the F13 and F14. I'll be running NA with no spray (I like to autocross once in awhile)

I'm hoping to see some more feedback about the two cams.

Goodluck

i would get urs on a 112 if ur not spraying.. call futral and talk about what powerband u need for the autocross stuff.. f13 makes a lil better low end. maybe 5-10lbs more tq at 3000-3500rpms, seems f14 will make 10 more hp 5000 and up.. both are good cams, not many running the f14, plenty running the f13 and 95% are making 400rwhp+ with stock heads it seems

specs
f13 is 230/232
f14 is 232/234 not much difference!

yea i was going to get a 112 but for some reason alan wanted to put it on a 114 whatever the reason i dunno.. im sure teh 112 sounds better, but the difference in graphs is prolly so minute it wont matter either way.. and the 114 will prolly be more tame in my auto around town.

also nitrous likes wider lobe sep. That might be why he said to get that one, if you told him you were going to use the gas.

yea i called my dyno tuner and told him i was ordering a fms cam. he spurted off "get a f14 on a 114lsa" i was like man u sound like a copy of fms... so u got to feel good knowing that ur tuner, "widely known and respected" and the guy grinding ur cam, both had the same idea in mind.. so if its the wrong cam, two guys who deal with a lot of these cars daily are both going to have to be wrong..

I think that 114 would like the spray much more, and would be an all around friendlier daily driver for your A4. Good choice. Let us know how it goes!

thanks.. thru the macs even im hoping for 375-380 with addition of pulley thru cutout or open headers.. since the macs have been ported and all. basically im hoping the 150 tnt shot will add just that.. 150rwhp, and a whole lot of tq! i will get the 375-380 if it even means buying lsx intake or something else.. but im really hoping for good tq b/t 3000-3500 even considering the size of this cam.
