Default Okay to use air ratchet on valve springs?

I was just wondering if this was okay. Ive just used a hand ratchet before, and it took quite a while. I know this way would be quicker, but Im just wondering if it would damage anyhing, or if it would be too much for the spring. Anybody else do this? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

cool. I guess you'd just have to keep your finger on top of the keeper in case it decided to fly off, with the spring being compressed so much faster.
