Default checking valve springs

well its been about 1000 miles since my cam swap and i'm gonna change my oil to make sure i'm not having any internal problems and i'm also gonna take a look at my valve springs. what should i look for after i pull my valve covers? should i take them out or just do a visual or what?

Well shouldn't have any problems with those. I pull my valve covers off every 3 months just to check on every thing! Only takes me 30min at the most to check both sides just for safety and not wanting to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$ For a broke or bent something! These centerbolt valvecovers are breeze to remove.

Are you getting any noise or unusual behavior? if not don't bother. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
