Question SLP or thunder racing cam?

I was thinking about slp cam
Camshaft Specs: Valve Lift Duration@.050
in: .576" 234º
ex: .571" 228º
Centerline - 112º
Lobe Separation - 113º

Or

thunder racing

99-224/224-112 Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA 1700-6600 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Requires computer tuning on automatic transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft

This cam will be put in a 1998 trans am. its all stock. i want it to have most power that is streetable has steady idel but mean sounding.

Do a search on the 2 cams you are looking at you will find hours of reading material. I have the tr224 and i like it. To get the max out or the cam get some boltons first,
Lts and ls6 intake, cat back ect. ect. You wont see much gain out of your cam if your motor cant breathe.

The 224/224 is a very popular cam. I am ordering a 224/224 .581/.581 lift.

YOU CANT RUN THESE CAMS WITH NO BOLTONS.... well you can, but its going to be a big waste of money

u need.. if a4 a stall converter

and if either, a gear, headers, free flowing exhuast, pulley, intake, airlid, port ur tb.

oh and a 224/224 cam isn't going to sound really mean.. so u might wanna get a 3500 stall and atleast 3.73's and run u a nice big lopey cam.

The first cam that you mentioned looks like a turbo cam with less duration on the intake than on the exhaust. Is there any benefit to using this type of cam on a N/A application?
