Default Results on my 02 Z06 with custom cam

Well put on a few mods this weekend. My base line before the mods bone stock with dirty paper filter was 353 RWHP. Then I added Custom ground comp cam 228/232 .581/.591 112 LSA, Kooks Long Tube 1 3/4 headers, X pipe, high flow cats, B&B Bullet exhuast, Patriot Dual Springs, Titainium retainers, Chromoly Push Rods, Dual roller timming chain, 30 LB injectors, and Vararam CAI. I did not add under drive pulleys however. My first run netted 420.1 RWHP. After over 15 dyno runs tuning the car it still was putting down 415.5 RWHP. I have to say I am very happy with the results. This is with CA gas and conservative timing. Oh and the car sounds insane with this set up. A little mellower at idle than I though but very very deep. I love it. Now it is time to get it to the track.

So you have stock heads and intake? My 02 did 360 to the wheels stock. It would be nice to have 420. I modded my sons 02 camaro with a similar cam. We did a mild port on his heads and port matched a 90 mm fast with 1 3/4 hookers and custom exhaust( 3" to x point and 2.5 true duals from there back. We have not dynoed car but it is very fast.
I am interested in your 06 as I am building a 403 ls2 na for my z06. I am going to go with a solid roller cause I run road courses a lot. Good luck with your car. I see you sold your cobra...mine is tore down in my garage...I guess I am not a Ford guy...I had bad luck with a new pickup when I was young and stayed away for 20 years until the cobra enticed me with its bulletproof engine. I broke it. Learned my lesson all over again.

Hmm, I like that cam selection. Very close to my cam specs. as you can see by my signiture. Good dyno numbers! The weather here has been bad, and I'm awaiting my dyno time to finish the final tuning and call it done.

Yes I have stock heads. Love the set up. I was happy to be stuck in traffic yesterday as I got to listen the the car lope. I hope to get to the track tomorrow.
