Default How many people are running the precision race 5.3l heads?

I did a search and seems that the sponsors are sure bragging them up but was wondering who was actually running them. I would like some feedback from actual customers.

I have a full bolt on car, LSX intake, and plan on going with precision race 5.3l heads, the TSP 231/237 cam. I am looking for 430 rwhp off the spray. Will I get that with this combo? is there a better cam to go with while spraying?
If I do not go the those heads i will go with AFR 205's. Are they going to work anybetter? Sponsors feel free to comment on how many sets of heads you have out that were mentioned above and the results.

Thanks for any input.

I am in the same situation. I will be buying either the AFR or the PRC heads in about a month. I talked to Jason at TSP a few weeks ago and he has a lot of confidence in thier new heads and suggested the PRC over the AFR and save over $600. Last I heard, he was waiting on parts though. Supposedly the AFR's are little stronger down low for a street car because of the port design and have thicker decks for nitrous or blower applications, but is it worth the extra $600?

I have some additional dyno sheets for you guys I'll try to post in the next few minutes. We're really happy with how the heads have worked for us so far & we're finally getting the back orders filled. We should have some sets in stock next week! No big backorders here

That's good to hear Jason. I'd like to see the dyno numbers. I'll be calling you in a week or so to put an order in for a set of PRC's.

Here's a image of the PRC heads on a automatic 4400 stall car we did for a customer going to the Thunder Shootout. It went 11.0s skipping 2nd gear all together. (manually tranny controller problems) The next pass it killed the 10 bolt
