Default MTI Stealth Cams question ?

Hey Guys,
I was wondering has anyone installed this cam in their cars with stock heads and what were your performance gains ? I've read a few post on here about the stealth cam ,but I think all of them had either LS6 or 5.3L heads. I really like looks of these camshafts ( MTI Stealth Cam I or II). I know there are bigger and badder cams out there ,but that doesn't fit my needs. I have an LT1 thats full boggie on the track ,so my 02 SS is my pimp ride. I just want a little extra without giving up my streetability . Thanks in advance

I had the Stealth II, good trq down low and carries well after the peak.
Sounds stock like, just much more nervous.

Cool. What type of ET and HP did you make with that cam with stock heads ?

Sweet !! Now those are the kinda of numbers I was hoping to see. So I guess the stealth cam II will be the ticket for me. I know I may not put down the same numbers, but at least your ET has giving me the potential of the stealth cams without heads.

Also ,what size springs and pushrods did you use to support that high lift cam ?

I had a light valvetrain.
stock heads but with LS6 valves, titanium retainers and 918 springs. I reused my stock rokers.
I ran cometic 0.045 with an out of hole piston at 0.007 (~0.038 quench)
I portmatched the headers and heads and also did the intake (LS6 modified to accept 80mm BBK TB).
Running a shorter gasket also increased my compression ~(2.3 cc less)
No porting though, and a slightly rich 93 octane tune. (N2O)

I just wanted you to know that these few little tricks are worth ~ 10/15 rwhp.

Colonel, "the Father of stealth II", ran a 11.20/121mph with stage 2 LS6 heads. He was in the 420rwhp teritory. with a SS4000 stall.
