Default New crate engine or cam/heads

I have a 98 Z28 w/113,000 miles, LT headers, thundermouth exhaust, bolt-ons, TCI3500,3:73. I was thinking of doing a cam/head job, with AFR 205 heads and a F13 cam w/new Ls6 oil pump, lifters,ASP pulley, Ls2 timing belt but on the other hand should I just get a Ls6 or Ls2 crate egine already done up. I am going to do a compression test this weekend to see how good my cylinders are. what should I do? Thanks guys

Default

The cheapest LS6 crate motor i found was $5279.00

So I searched to see if I could get a 347/5.3L heads/cam longblock for around the same price and you can!!!

PM me if you want me to point you to the right direction.
