Piston questions
I am having some machine work done to my block, and while its out, i was thinking of going with forged pistons. On kind of a budget, but what kind are suggest, what brands are people having good luck with? also the cylinder walls wheren't to bad, but the machine shop said they will clean them up with a hone. if they hone it, what size pistons am I going to need? I noticed Mahle makes them in 3.903 and 3.905 what type of clearence do i want between the cylinder walls and the pistons?

are the stock pistons dished at all? I have been looking at different pistons, and have been trying to find out what will and will not work with the TREX. I'm betting a domed piston wouldn't work, but will a flattop piston work?

The stockers are Flattops with no valve reliefs.
Depending on the compression and quench you are looking for would determine whether or not you need a dome or a flattop
