Default Need cam advice for radical stock cid motor

I am in the process of putting together another motor and need some advice. I am puting together a stock cid ls1 with AFR 225's, FAST 90mm setup, 13.5 to 1 compression, forged bottom end, th400, 4000 rpm nitrous converter, moser 12 bolt w/ 4.10's. I have comp pro magnum rockers (1.75 ratio) and I want to know what size cam I should go with. I am going to s[ray 150 wet on it at first and probably go to a 250 fogger. I am thinking something in the 248-252 intake, 254-260 exhaust, 615-620 intake 625-630 exhaust on a 113-114 lsa. I am using crane dual springs and comp R lifters.

I am wanting to squeze every ounce of power out of this thing that I can, all advice is much appreciated.

That should like the high rpms. I am building a ls2, 403 cu.in.,with 10.8comp, large valve ls6 heads, fast 90 mm, kooks 1 7/8, cam 250/260 with lift at .640, patriot springs and patriot shaft mount rockers. I was going to do a solid cam but changed mind at the end. Rods and crank are Eagle. Looking for a throttle body that will work on my z06. Good luck with your project.

My setup is lower cr, only 11.x.1 and my cam was spec'd for a little less duration 23x/24x .6307/.6222 @ 114* and it was designed for some nice hits, +/- 300 or so shots. Have fun and might want to consider going with a custom grinder with all your specs to get it dialed in for your particular application.

I'd go 14.5:1. 250 intake 260 exhaust on a 110. But I don't do the juice. That probably wont work on the bottle.

I don't know how the specs of a cam affect performance. Is my cam made for mid or high rpm power? Specs are in my sig.
