Default Worth getting a cam???

hey, i'm getting a slp lm catback system and a lid. now i've read that cams do well with lt's and cut outs, but i was wondering if cams do well with exhaust and lids/intakes. thanks

p.s.- a have a 2k2 so i have the larger injectors and the ls6 intake manifold if it does make a difference

having the bigger injectors won't matter till you decide to get some noz. Now as far as the ls6 intake yes that is a good thing, and yes ls6 intake, plus lt's are very good for a cam look to gain anywhere about 30 horses from a good cam even more with a good set up. hell there are some guys putting down 400 horses with full bolt ons and a cam so a cam is deff worth it.

Without a doubt. I couldn't believe the difference a cam made. I wish I would have did mine a long time ago.

well if you doing cat back and not getting lt's you wasting your money, and you already got the better breathing intake so your car is primed for a cam, if you want to go small with the cam casue of emmisions there are cams out there for that and trust me you will notice a difference power wise deffinetly. but hey thats just my .02

I'f you don't do headers, you could do something like a LS6 cam or something under 220 duration for some small gains.
However, IMO, if you don't do LT's or at least mid-lengths with the cam, you're just wasting your money.
