Default Wiseco Pistons?

What does everyone think of Wiseco pistons? I've been recomended to use these pistons by several people, and heard good things about them but don't see many people on here running them.

The pistons I am looking at are for 8.0-8.5:1 @ 66cc chamber CR pistons

I'll be running Wiseco slugs in my next motor. -2cc valve relief. I have yet to read a bad thing about them.

I'm using Wiseco as well.

No issues. Good value and quality for the product.

They are a huge MFG; no need to worry.

I have built motors with them, in LT1 s with 150, and people have run them with no clue about tuning or etc. He has been trying to blow it up for almost 2 years now so he will have an exuse to build a stroker and just can't seem to do it. Help a person build a 346 with some Wisecos he never had any problems. We just finish doing a 382 big bore with some in it, It made 503hp/495 tq engine dyno with LPE gt2-3 and mild ported heads. Just order another set last week for another LS1 build. Highly recommended you want be dissappointed.

I'm sure I could burn them if I wanted, that woiuld be pretty trivial to destroy any piston in a F/I setup if you were trying.

But they sound like great pistons and I will be getting a set. Thanks for the input!

I ran the -25cc dished 2618 Wiseco pistons in the forged 6.0L I had built (now sold to Armageddon). Excellent piston!!

I have not ran wiseco in either my truck or Z28 but when it comes time to do pistons on either one, wiseco will be the brand I choose. I have been running a Wiseco Pro-Lite Piston in 87 Honda CR250R w/ out any problems for around 1 year now.

Yep! Next to J&E and SpeedPro (formerly TRW), they're probably one of the best piston manufacture's on the market.
