Where did you mount your remote oil filter?

Where did you mount your remote oil filter? Would like to hear from those few that have installed remote oil filters where you mounted it. I am not clear where it should go. I have seen pics of it mounted to the inside of the well above the headers. Yet, it seems that could be a pain to change the filter and not drip oil everywhere. Pics are appreciated too.
