Question I'm thinking about getting a cam for my car but I dont know which one for my setup.

I'm thinking about getting a cam for my camaro and I need help deciding which pone to get. I want it to be streetable and still be able to hit mid 11's or lower with 100 shot of nitrous. My mods are in the sig and I have a stock 2.73 rear. I had a link that explained what the duration means and the lsa but the site seems to be down. I dont want to pick the wrong one for my setup so I need everyones input. And if there is a link that explains cams, please post 'em. Thanks!

I wouldn't go bigger than a 224 w/ that stall and your gears....even that may be pushing it.

with your TC and gears i would say something no bigger than 220* dur. at .050 lift.,112lsa if you don't mind a little rough idle.do a search for some dynos of cars with mods similar to yours

the VHP 055 would be a decent choice as well. 216/224 .551/.551 113 LSA. or the 062 if you don't want as aggressive of a cam. 210/218 .551/.551 112 LSA. http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...%20LS1%202.htm
