Default will this radical cam fit stock heads?

i bought a cam last summer with these specs

236/242 .601/.610 112 +4, IVO = 10, IVC = 46, EVO = 57, EVC = 5, (@.50)

i have a 97 C5 coupe now, and i was looking through the broom closet and found this thing just laying around needing a good car to go into ... i got some info last summer that would suggest that it will NOT fit with stock pistons. is there any way to find out FOR SURE without removing the heads, weather or not this cam will fit???

thanx

mike

I'm guessing it would clear with stock heads that haven't been milled and stock sized valves. But you should contact the company you got the cam from and check with them.

Looks like it should fit. The TREX is alot bigger on a 110 LSA and it fits.

Good call. The TREX is a good reference with a little give and take as to the biggest cam that will clear with stock heads.

It technically should work but I wouldn't just slap it in without measuring first.

thanks for the info guys... what would make the people that i talked to last summer ( people on the board) suggest to me that it would NOT fit... any info will be GREATLY appreciated!

edit... it has +4 ground into the cam. i could just put it in straight up with an adjustable timing set right? and where is a good place to get an adjustable chain at???

thanx guys!

I would maybe try pming PREDATOR-Z. He knows tons when it comes to cams and engine internals, I bet he'd be able to help you out.
