Depends a lot on usage, how often it sees high revs, proper break-in, etc. In general I'd say a good 15-20k.

An educated guess would be 15-20k to be safe. Depends on many things - including cam lobes/lift, operating conditions and break-in.

It's kinda like asking "if I eat right how long will I live". The time could come tomorrow, or it could (hopefully) be a long time.

The double springs should give you a little more peace of mind knowing that the valve shouldn't drop even if one spring does break.

Cheers,

20-25k unless you take it to the redline every day, on a decent sized cam.

So, if a person was to install the PP springs, would it be a good idea to rent or purchase a spring tension measuring tool? then compare tension at 20-25K?

If so, how much change should be allowed, or should they just be changed?
