Timing Chain Dampner..... OK I'm doing heads and cam on my 04 GTO with a Magnacharger. I replaced the chain with an LS2 chain. I also ordered the LS2 dampner.....BUT it don't fit. Well the black one doesn't, even though GM swears it's the right one. The 04's didn't come with a dampner, well at least my Quicksilver one didn't but they insist that they did. Maybe the later model year, cause I gave him the VIN to my Impulse BLue one.
Anyway does anyone know who stocks the tan colored dampner that I can order from have quick, it is the last thing holding me up from lighting the car off, and local dealers say it will be over a week to get
. So sorry if wrong forum but just looking to see if anyone knows a vendor who stocks it.
The black one's last 3 in part number is 670 and the bolt holes are too narrow.
