Forge the motor during h/c/stall swap?
Considering there will be nothing except the block left in there should I just go ahead put forged rods/pistons in?
Doesnt seem like too much more work to me.. Is there any cost im looking over besides the cost of rods/piston? Haha when i bought the heads/cam i thought it wasnt too much money but when i realised I needed cometic gaskets and studs ect.. it got expensive..
So
Rods/pistons/rod bolts/cryo-treated crank..
any suggestions on what rods / pistons.. Since im going to be spraying a big shot on it I want around 11:1 compression..
I havent did any searching on it yet but i plan too now

i suggest you go ahead and put forged parts in there...it's something you most likely will have to do soon anyhow so might as well do it while it's all apart..if you are spraying a "big shot" then your motor will last maybe 2 of those big shots...haha...so definatly forge it

Even if you have no interest in what I am selling I would still suggest if you have the money to forged the shortblock.
It will save you headaches in the future.
Also something like I have will allow for a larger camshaft without P/V problems, has coated pistons which will defentially help with the Nitrous. What I am selling is a little extreem for most guys, however if you buy it and resell your shortblock for 850-1000 bicks your only out 2500 more dollars and you can have the motor at your house in 1 week.
Anyways check it out, if it's to built for what your looking at I still suggest changing the pistons/rods/rings/rod bolts, etc.
