looking for heads to match cam and spray
just like the title said. dont really care about dyno numbers, just looking for a set of heads that will get me down the track the fastest.
TR230/236 .590/.598 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM that is the cam i will be using along with a NOS direct port kit, combo'ed with the FAST 90/90 and all other boltons except for water pump. also have the yank SS4000e
I'd like to have a 11:1 CR. at first i only plan to do a 150-175 shot but after i forge the internals (pisotns & rods mabey crank) ill go 250ish.

I would check TEA for a fact that they seem to usually put a good 10>15 cfm more exhaust on the heads they work on.
If $$ no object then LS6, if on budget 4.8/5.3's.

I'd suggest going with a set of Precision Race Components stage 2.5 5.3L cylinder heads. They're $1,529 outright with a brand new set of cores (NOT USED OR GM REJECTS!), and they feature a 2.04"/1.575" stainless steel valve configuration. They also come standard with the PRC dual valve spring kit rated up to .660" lift with titanium retainers. It's the best of everything! If you are wanting to keep it on more of a budget, you could opt for PRC's stage 1.5's using the same 2.04" intake valve setup but keeping the stock 1.55" exhaust truck valves. It comes with the same spring setup, and they sell for $1,429 outright.
As for flow numbers, they can sometimes be as worthless as dyno numbers. Every bench varies, and the flow technique can vary flow numbers by 20+ cfm. If the heads are flowed consistently everytime, you ideally want to look at the percentage change in flow, not the advertised peak. Feel free to give me a call or e-mail me at trevor@texas-speed.com if you have any questions or concerns. I'll be more than happy to discuss cylinder heads with you.
