Default looking for some input on my setup I am planing on getting in a month

Here is the thing. I can only spend roughly $3500 on this setup. I will be keeping my nitrous but will probably drop it down to 75, and 100 when I absolutly need it. I am not sure if I need the timing set, rockers, and lifters I have listed. If so I will either need to save more, or find other parts to use. I know I can use my stock timing chain, etc. but can, and is it a good idea to use my stock lifters and rockers? Just looking for some input on the setup.

Save your self $350, and ditch the catted Y pipe. Buy true duals, and not only will it sound badass, but you will make more power.

You don't need the rockers, lifters, pushrods, adjustable timing set, but do need a cam with slightly more lift. If you keep the nitrous with this set up you need to check the A/F to make sure you fuel system is up to par. If not you may want to think about twins in the tank or an inline booster with slightly larger injectors. Oh, and with that kind of power the stock 10 bolt won't last long.

TNorman:
The more that I am thinking about it, the more I think I will get rid of my nitrous kit. So if I take that out of the eqaution, keep that cam but go with this head/cam package from speed inc:

Patriot CNC Stage 2 Ported Heads
GM MLS Head Gaskets
Felpro Head Bolts
Choice of any Comp Cam Grind - SI4 comp 224/228
Comp Chrome moly Pushrods
GM Crank Bolt & Seal

Then the pacesetter headers and tsp catted Y (emissions reasons, its the only requirement to pass inspection here and I want it to not have any problems), and you said that I wouldnt the rockers, lifters, adjustable timing set...then it would cost 3150 with a spec 3 clutch. what about that?

thanks

I'm running an FM11 on stock pushrods, lifters, chain, and rockers. If I were to get anything other than stock head bolts it would be ARP head studs. Add front cover gasket, water pump gaskets, coolant, oil, and filter and you have all you need for the swap.
