Question I wanna run 10's

I wanted to get some other opinions on how to run mid 10's with only using a little bit of gas 100 shot. My car is a 2000 Z28 m6. Oh yeah i can spend as much as i need but trying not to go nuts. My current plan is going with a built bottom end 346 factory cube, stock heads, T Rex cam kit,Tune , fast 90mm intake with fast 90mm TB, asp pulley, slp lid, all free mods, kooks steeped longtubes, off road 3 inch y-pipe, Moser 12 bolt, with their axles and 4:30 gears, ET drags, all rear suspension control arms, troque arm, panhard, adjustable shocks, my 6-speed will have been built or do yea think the factory t56 internals would be ok. What should it run in 1/8th with say a 1.60 60ft on motor then on a 100 shot wet kit? all opinions appreciated.

why do all that (built bottom, 90/90, etc.), then run stock heads?

patriots are pretty darn cheap, as are many others.

4.30 gears are gonna be screamin unless you shift to 5th gear smokin01ta does 10.xx in his CAM ONLY 6-speed car w/ 4.56's (i think), might want to check him out

3.90's are another choice that are a pretty popular comprimise between 3.73 and 4.10. 3.73 is loved as a street race gear giving a bit more traction off the line and probably doing a little better in roll races, where 4.10's are alot of fun, but a little more drag oriented.

i have 4.11's in my moser 12, and sometimes wish i'd gotten 3.73's when i have to grab 3rd at 23 mph lol

I was gooing to run factory heads because i was told that there aren't too many head choices to run with a high lift of the T rex

Default Get some heads!

If yor going to do that stuff you should spend about 1000 used or about 1300new on some heads & you may not need the juice. Heads are a key ingrediant in your Quest, you just don't know it yet! LOL.

well, the t-rex doesnt really like aftermarket heads from what i've been seeing. IMO yuou should get either the G5X4 or MS3 + some nice heads. you probably wont even need the spray to make it into the 10's with that kind of setup.

why are you so dead set on the t-rex? a good set of heads and a meaty cam will make better power than a trex and stock heads, plus it will be WAY more driveable. may cost you alittle more money, but it will be better in the long run.

It looks like your just getting started in this.... I hope you realize how much money and time it takes to get in the 10's...
do your 12 bolt or 9in'' first then your chassis , then cam and intake mods and i think youll be surprised how fast youll be

hell my 9" made my car quicker just b/c of the gears. you don't need a t-rex, but a g5x4 w/badass heads would put you into the deep tens with a good suspension if you have it all tuned correctly.
