Valve spring replacement? How much work is it to replace all the valve springs? Do the heads need to be removed or anything? About how long should it take to replace them?

Is it more common to break an intake valve spring verse the exhaust valve spring? This is the second time I have broken an exhaust valve spring and both mechanics thought it was strange that it was the exhaust spring that broke.

Not sure which break more often: Exhaust or Intake Valve Springs. Which springs are you breaking. Are they the stock springs or an aftermarket valve spring? The reason I ask is if you are making 375 rwhp and you think you have a stock cam, I'm betting there is an aftermarket cam in your car (assuming you bought the car used and don't know for sure). You may want to put a dial indicator on the rocker and measure the lift, stock should give you around .5" times 1.7 rocker arm ratio for a total of .85 inches. If you are running stock springs with an aftermarket cam you will start breaking them right and left.
