Default retune after pulling screen from granitteli MAF?

I have 424 fast 90 NW 90 granitteli MAF in 98 vette.

Car was tuned with the honey comb screen in MAF. Had a nitrous backfire and destroied the screen. The MAF looks ok but do I need to retune?

Thanks for your coments

Are you sure the backfire didn't hurt the MAF?
You might just want to replace the MAF unless you can get the screen back in.

The screen is tore up bad. Noway to reuse it. This happened before and the old MAF survived. I think it's ok, I'm just not sure of the tune?

Most ppl. have no issues with the screen out my self included. IIRC the values in the program willnot be accurate as obviously you have more air flow than the maf is looking to see. To be dead on you would have to compensate
for the additional air. BTW the maf values are not linear so if tuning not a very easy fix, but imo not going to affect drivability.
