techs inside.. ppl with large cams in 346's or small cams in larger cubes inside-
i was just thinking, a 346 with a 230's cam most time starts to be less streetable b/c loss of lowend tq. well if u were to take it out to a 374 or 383 with same cam, which wouldnt' be a very big cam for those cubes i know, but u would if anything gain tq from stroking it correct? tq down low = streetability.. combined with the fact the cubes would soak up the cam and it may even sound more streetable? it might not be the badest 374 or 383 on the planet no, but it would probably drive closer to stock and make more then the same setup in a 346 i would think.
example.. trex in a 346 not very streetable
example.. trex in a 408 would be pretty tame and make more power probably.
i know there are other variables, but in theory this is correct?

streetable is all relative.
i think the g5x4 is plenty streetable.
look at dyno graphs of big cams vs small cams, sure the big cams make more up top and peak higher- but everywhere along the curve they still make more power and tq.
there was a thread with graphs of several different setups.
and yes a trex would have much better street maners with more cubes.
