Default 1.85 Rockers with Hotcam

I'm pretty sure this will be ok but I just wanted to verifythat 1.85 rockers with .525 lift will be ok?

Thanks in advance!

Sure. But I would use Comp 918 springs to be on the safe side.

I have been contemplating that same thing, but after thinking about it, for the same (or less) money you could just buy a new cam. It is tempting though.

I would change cam. If at all possible, always keep 1.70 ratio for better geometry (Crane variables work but mucho $$$$)
Find a used TR224 (~150>200), 918's and you wont be sorry.

I can appreciate the appeal of not opening the engine to change the cam.

He would have to change his valvesprings and rockers anyways, its not like its hard to change a cam in these cars. Few more hours worth of work and hes there.
