Default corvette motor covers on z28?

I was curious if the side motor covers (The ones that cover the fuel rails and the coil packs on a corvette) Will fit on the LS1 in my Z28. My main reasoning is purley cosmetic, it makes the whole motor look cleaner as well as having the things say "Corvette" on the side is cool as well being that the LS1 is a vette motor. Has anyone done this?

Thanks!

I was at a car show last year and saw a guy with the covers on his z28. He had the corvette letters filled in and sanded smooth. They were painted the same color as his car and they looked very sweet. Since your car does not have them you may need to get the two studs that help hold the covers in place. The cover snaps onto the fuel rail and the two studs.

if they say corvette ,then they dont belong on a camaro, IMO.
they will fit. you can get them from some shope already cut to fit the f body, or you can find the info online and cut a stock set yourself.

filling, and smoothing them out gets my vote. thats when they look good.

good luck with it.

I had custom-made carbon fiber fuel rail covers on my 1999 Camaro SS, but I can tell you that they were a giant pain in the ***** to get off and on. With the extra cables the F-body has (throttle and cruise control, etc) and the fact that half the motor is behind the windshield cowl, it makes it tough to use FRC's, but it can be done.
