Default LS6 valve spring life?

Did a search, couldn't find anything.
How many miles will '02 yellow stripe ls6 valve springs last running with a cam with .525 lift? If I'm not mistaken, they're good to .600 lift according to GM so in theory my low lift cam should push those springs past 100k miles right? How long are these suckers going to last? Thanks

I would say well over 100k with a .525 lift!

Hotcam? A low lift, soft lobe cam will wear the LS6 springs at about the same rate as a stock vehicle. Don't worry about them. 100,000 sounds about right though I'd check them around 75,000.

Nope, ASA cam. I figured they'd last awhile. Thanks guys!
