problem after cam swap!

Default problem after cam swap!

it idles ok but then it starts idling faster...
it gives me a MAP sensor performance code (106)
and a maf performance code (101)

what do i do to fix it?


i swapped cam, springs, pushrods, manifold, TB and MAF

get rid of the stupid slp maf and put your stock one back on. That slp maf is a piece of **** for real.

Well the first no cost option to try is to carefully clean the sensor wires in the maf,carb/choke cleaner on a cotton swab works well for this, this happens alot when you have a K&N/Powershot filter that has to oiled,the oil transfers on the sensor wires and can cause the codes you describe. Try this first and repost if the codes reappear. If the maf is new I agree with the above post and try the stock maf.
