I had 8k miles on a h/c swap. When one day at the track I noticed small puffs of white on startup. Checked the coolant and sure enough it was low. Pulled my heads off and I was seeping right at the rear middle bolt (GM bolts and gaskets) on the driver side. Since then I've gone to ARP studs and comtic gaskets with no problems in 10k HARD miles.
