Default Help Me pick a cam for new motor.

Well Im going with a 389 for the time being. Let me say this I have had the 231 237, magic stick, 225 225, and have a lot of experiece with my friends G5X3. I love big cams. With that being said any suggestions as far as a bad *** cam to put in new motor. Heads are Stage 2 ported and polished LS6 heads, Manley 2.02/1.60 will have gold springs on them. Flow numbers are over 300 at 600 lift. Pistons have -4cc reliefs so I can go pretty big. Any recomendations??? I would love to try to go for 500 to the ground but don't know if im gonna make it.

IMO your heads will need upgrade to stage 3 (all bore motor)
Then forget of the shelf cams and once the heads are done and flowed, give those specs and get a custom cam especialy tailored to match your lift flows.

Im playing with that Idea right now I have a set of stage 3's as well im gonna take them and get them flowed and see if they do better than my other heads.. They should but you just never know. Im kinda leaning towards something like this 244/248 610/615 114+2 for nitrous down the road. any other recomendations??
