I posted about the same ? in the external engine forum awhile back just search for it, got pretty much the same response from most people.Good luck, I still can't get mine to work.

found it,
98 - pin 35 on the blue connector on the pcm, its a white wire,
99,00 - pin 10 on the red connector on the pcm, its a white wire,
if youre an 01 or 02 sorry I was doing this before they came out...

I had both the shift light and the window switch working from a white wire in the dash to the left of the instrument cluster. There were 4 wires in that cluster.
The coil packs are where I want to do it this time. I have a new C6 and dont want to take anything apart now.
