Default what sealant to use on intake rocker bolts?

what kind of sealant can i use on the rocker bolts for the intake side to keep any oil from possibly leaking down in the chamber? i read using locktite on all bolts but i wouldnt think that would be good enough to keep oil out

Teflon thread sealer is said to work. I don't put anything on mine; I don't think they leak much at all anyway.

Home Depot, Lowe's, plumbing shops. Either one will work.

No it's a white paste in a tube. I don't see why the tape wouldn't work, though.

I used medium strength (blue) loctite on my pewter car when I installed the cam, and torqued them to spec, no problems whatsoever.

i've taken mine off 40 times and never put anything in the holes

it doesnt smoke, and the only oil loss is from my oil pan leaking

i would be worried about using RED LOCTITE on any aluminum parts. that **** can do some damage. i've used blue on a few things (like tq arm bolts), but that's it, i've never put loctite on aluminum parts before.

you dont want to use RTV.

if you do use RTV for some reason, use permatex since not as easily effected by the fuel

when they say locktite, they dont mean locktite the thread locker. they are refering to locktite thread sealant.

threadlocker does work OK to seal it up, but its not as effective.
