Best place to buy short block?
Im looking to buy a 383 stroker short block...are there any good sponsors for this? what place do you reccomend to buy from? thanks

Combination Motorsports Las Vegas. There currently doing my 408 Brett the machinest is probabally one of the best I have ever seen.He was our lead machinest in our engine shop before going to work @ Combination.Their machine shop is full of brand new state of the art Sunnen equipment. I belive they did the motor for the blue silverado with the turbo cant think of the guys name...

And I've heard good things about HPE shortblocks too. Might want to give them a call.

We have the parts to build both 383 & 408 strokers in stock. Is there any particular reason why your wanting a 383? I noticed you have a 5.3l truck. Are you thinking of doing a 383 5.3l based iron block? If not the 408cid stroker would be just as cheap
