the valve reliefs should give you approx .165/.107 more P/V. if you subtract .030 for the milling and .010 for the valve that leaves .125 on the intake, you should have plenty of room.

If that is the cam you want I'd wait the extra couple weeks. There really isn't anything else out there I am aware of that is the same as the Trex.
Have you considered the LG G5X4 (juggernaut)? MS3? How much bigger do you want to go? 242/248 is way up there.

Just wait till next week and get one. Go ahead and order it now so you know you'll be on the list. It'll be worth the wait and it should fit with out any problems.

I too run ross pistons with 2cc valve reliefs. I have .035 shaved off my LS1 5.7L heads and use a .040 gasket and have plenty of room for the Trex. My pistons are also .008 below the deck unlike stock or most other manufatures that come out above the deck.

I agree, should have plenty of room.
I would also wait until next week.

And do you get any heat soak like most people say with your weiand intake..

Yes, i put the timming marks straight up and for the intake I've not had any kind of problems with heat soak, the only thing i had problems with was the long tubs and the 02's, with the 02's being to fare down stream and was causeing my LTFT's to go into the (-) neg. or rich, makeing my computor thing the my exaust was running (cool) rich and it would lean it out so much that my car would not run or "running out of gas" ,so i had to wrap the headers to put more heat to the 02's and now my car runs perfect with my LTFT's near (0) + or -.
