Independent TEA Stg 3 LQ9 head flow Before folks start to point fingers and cry any type of foul, please read the "Cylinder Head Discussion Thread" here:

about the Superflow benches, Flowdata benches, etc.
I wanted to get the most conservative numbers i could find, so I had my TEA 6.0 Stg 3 heads flowed on a Superflow 1020. TEA uses a big fancy Flowdata bench... so I knew the results were going to vary.

As a reference, we had a set of LG supplied Absolute Speed stage 2.5 LS6 heads flowed on the same 1020 bench...

And those were the hot setup for quite awhile
All of these results are flowed with a 4.125" bore, clay radius on the intake, and 1 7/8" pipe on the hot side.
I'm still exceptionally pleased with the results. If this 1020 says the heads flow that well, these heads will make some great power... all for less than $2200 assembled, core included.
It does go to show, however, that flow numbers accross different machines, operators, etc, really are going to vary a bit.

Granted, I havent put them on the car yet... but given my current heads, I'm honestly looking for 40rwhp or more here, and a metric assload more reliability than I currently have.

is the intake ported at all or do they just increase the inlet to 90mm? it is 90mm right?

I bought it used for $650 for the intake and TB. Im not sure what the going retail for a new setup is... perhaps www.tpis.com has the right info.
