FI + Cam + stock bottom end?
basically i'm looking to go the turbo route, but i wont be able to afford a forged short block for a while. I know i wont be able to run a ton of boost, but if i plan on dropping the compression down ( 6.0l heads + thick gasket) and adding a cam and about 8-9 pounds of boost i believe i should be ok. now, with that in mind, what type of cam should i be looking at for a stock bottom end? i already have a cam in here that isnt gonna work for a turbo, so i dont wanna go back to the stock cam.
basically, what is my limitation as far as cam size goes on a stock bottom end?
