Default Keep my cam or trade in for an HPE?

Hey everyone. I recently got a good deal on a Comp Cams grind, that is the same as TSP's Torquer r.2. It's a 232/234, .595"/.598", 112LSA, and I don't know if I should keep it or go bigger. I have a '99 Z, full bolt-ons, full exhaust, 3500 stall, 3.73's, blah blah blah. It's daily-driven, and I want to get approx. 400 hp and some solid 11 second timeslips. I'm thinking of getting an HPE 'S' cam (238/242, .608"/.612", 115LSA). What would you do?

i dont know how the hpe is going to run on the street, if you have a solid tuner who you know can get it to be daily drivin then go for the HPE, but i would just stick with the torquer its a good cam already. not worth the extra 400 bucks.. or so.

Save the money and get some heads. With that cam and a good set of heads, I can't imagine you falling short of 400rwhp

Thanks. I've been seriously tempted to snag a set of 5.3's and run with those. I wanted to see what I could cam only first. I enjoy the process, the step-by-step, of modifying.
