my 2000 ta has a tr 224/224 .566/.566 114. it is a 6 speed. what can you all tell me about it.

SEARCH. It's the bread and butter so to speak. Makes good torque/decent power without being big and irritating picky people.

It's a good all around cam for the street or even for the strip once in a while, I have it on a 114LSA and it works good with a M6, I would probably go with the AFR 224/228 or even a TR224 on a 112LSA if it was not for emisstions.JMO.

Probably the best cam on the market... for overall performance and streetabilty with easy to pass smog.

I had one.. LOVED it.. if it wasnt for going with a SC I probably wouldve never changed it. Went 12.2 and 116.5mph with bolt ons.. and still got 27-28mpg on the freeway.

Good cam, I have the TR227 just a tad bigger & I like it.

cam is hard to beat for the street. obiously there are other cams that make more power, but the 224 has great power curve for street use and will pass the sniffer..
