Default Milled heads vs Bigger cam?

I'm hoping to get both H/C for my car in the next month or so. I'm leaning towards TEA for the heads, most likely the 1.5 or 2.5 5.3L's (Brent says the newer 5.3s are pretty damn close to the LS6 numbers) and an FM11-13 for the cam.......but I don't want to flycut. Which is gonna give me more power and what type of powerband will it produce: no/slight milling withing an FM12-13 or mill 'em down and go the the 11? Thanks!

My heads are milled, and I kinda regret it. You will be limited in cam size.

Why are you opposed to flycutting? You can have milled heads and a prety big cam. Although I dont have any experience with it first hand, lots of others get it done and dont have any problems. But I myself am getting valve relief pistons instead...

How much does flycutting or a set of valve relief pistons cost?
