Default Pics of my new 6.0L Heads

Well i got some pics of my reworked heads....
They WERE Patriot 6.0L Stage II Heads.
When they were taken off the car my pistons were black.... oil......
so the valve seals were checked and 4 were bad.....
To make things worse 6 valve seats were bad and the valves were NEVER fully seated so the whole time i could of been making more HP if they were seating.
So the heads were taken to Livernois and they cleaned the heads and replaced the seats, seals, and did a new valve job.

Now for the flow sheet..... im really happy because Livernois was able to pick up almost 70cfm at .300 lift and mid range lift is were the power is made.....

I was told that the heads will flow better on my car since i have a 4.03" Bore and the heads were flowed on a 3.875" bore.
Im not worried about peak flow numbers..... Im happy with down low....

Sorry to break the news, but 211-193=18 cfm at .300" lift. Even if, 18cfm is a very reasonable gain and your heads seem to be flowing very well now. Hope you gain a good bit.
EDIT, unless you talking about your exaust numbers, where one was flowed with a pipe and one was not, I don't think that could be compared........

Heads aren't gunna pick up 100 cfm per .100" valve lift, however 136, 193, and 243 are very normal numbers. If it were 136, 143, and 243, there would be something weird goin on. Like I said though, you got a very respectable gain out of them. I'd be happy.

What gaskets are you using with these heads? I have the same sorta setup (375ci w/ 6.0 heads) and I'm using the Cometic .040 gasket, but I'm concerned about my compression. What compression are you running, obviously lower due to turbo?

I'd be hapy to. It sucks that you have to have them fixed when you've already payed once though. BTW, when did GM start making a .054 MLS gasket? I always thought they were .064" compressed for MLS and .054 for graphite compressed?
