Default Milled 5.3s. What are my options?

My 5.3 heads are milled 30 thousandths and I would like to upgrade my cam. How big of a cam can I go? I would like something like an fm 13. I'm tired of my 224.

you will probably have to flycut the pistons with the F13 or similar cam.the 5.3s have a lower valve drop than 5.7 heads(about .030).no matter what cam you go with,check your piston to valve clearence.

hey i run a .591 .569 lift cam with 5.3 heads shaved .020 and it seems to be fine but my pistons did notch theirselves before with the old valves in my other heads. not sure how much though
