Default CheaTR/Stealth cam guys...????

Just curious how you like these cams for daily driving? I heard the CheaTR cam was designed to run with manifolds rather than headers..Would I see adverse results with a cheaTR cam and my current LT/ORYP and stock cat back setup? Lastly, is the Stealth designed to work with stock manifolds as well. Is one better than the other with a free flowing exhaust? How are these cams on valve springs as far as wear goes?

thanks

Larry

Both cams would have excellent driveability with LT's and ORY, but the Stealth would be a better match for the freer flowing exhaust. Both have pretty fast ramps and would require you to check the springs each year for signs of wear. Probably need to replace springs every 20-25k miles. The Stealth wasn't designed specifically to run with stock manifolds, but since the overlap is less than 0 degrees at .050", it will work with them.

Patrick - has there been any testing with the Cheater cam with a high flow exhaust setup (LT, ORY/ORX, catback) compared to stock manifolds, cats, and catback.

Jason99T/A is adding long tubes and high flow y-pipe on his motor in the next few weeks. Hope to see some dyno results after that.
