Default Just Bough Z28... Already having issues...

I just bought a 99 Z28, and after picking it up, I noticed several issues. My main issue is that when you gun the engine and switch gears, it will kick out of 4th gear, however when you go very slowly at putting it into fourth gear, it will stay. Please don't tell me this is a tranny issue, becuase that would be perfect!?!?!? Let me know what you think...
