Default Baddest Heads Cam combo...

on pump gas, stock 346, no nitrous. What is it? Driveability is not an issue, nor gas mileage, bucking, surging, etc. Just times in the quarter. A 4400 stall will be matched up to this as well(to have SOME streetablity, as this would be a weekend and track car). How about a G5X3 and a set of AFRs? Or the GMPP LS6 heads and Grand Am cup Cam(thats the one I like). Or maybe a sleeper, like a smaller FM cam and a nice set of heads(a proven combo). I know of the cam-only setups, but what about this?

AFR's and a G5X4 or custom for all out max power crappy driveabilty. If I were to make a sweet combo it would probably be AFR's and an F-14. 450-475rwhp shouldn't be too hard to obtain.

Big stupid ported AFRs and a solid roller.

If you want to make nearly as much power, but keep the cost down, I'd do something like a F-15 and some ported LS6 heads by Advanced Induction.

G5X4 and AFR 225s. As far as "off the shelf" goes.

I think my cam has plenty of room since it's only 2* advanced.

I think the shelf grind F-15 is a 111 +4.

I don't think the f-15 is putting out the numbers like it should. You should put out number close to if not better than the f-15. I know gomer made more power with his f-13 than the f-15. If you need more get the f-14. It idles harder and would make probably 10-15rwhp more with your setup.

Well the baddest set of heads you probably can't afford... meaning a set of heads prepped to the level a Super Stock car has, but without rules. You would probably **** your pants if you saw prices on that.

I wouldn't say you are way off that number. His range started at 450, and you are making 441 and have yet to put an underdrive pulley on. You may be at the low end of the range (with pulley), but in it nonetheless.

Go with a 246/250 Cam Motion Hydraulic cam on a 108 or 110, then put some AFR 225s, but the 62cc chambered ones milled down to 58cc or so. Install every conceivable bolt on, and you might see 480rwhp unlocked. That's be like 530-535 in an M6. It'd run on pump gas too cuz of the overlap of the cam.

How would the torque curve be? Or would it be really peaky with a set of AFR 225s and a giant cam?

I just put down 440RWHP and 397RWTQ with Futral Stage II heads and an FM13 cam if that helps you. Car has a beautiful curve, pulls across the whole RPM range.
