Default Stock Timing Chain - Aftermarket Springs

Been considering installing the Crane 1.8 rockers but am concerned about the longevity of the stock timing chain with the heavier springs required for the 1.8 rockers. Has anyone put a LOT of miles on the stock timing chain with heavier springs?

Irrelative to one another.
I run single chains on all my cams even with XE-R lobe camshafts.

Car has 15K miles.

Predator Z, when you say you run a single chain, are you running the LS1 stock chain or some other like the LS2?

I run J-wiss but that is because I got it before LS2 was available. If I do it now I will get LS2.
