Default Stripped out hole in front cover...options?

I was putting my oil pan back on and I stripped out the one bolt that goes into the front cover. Can I drill and tap it a bit bigger or do I need a new cover?

A helicoil or thinsert is really a better way to go than drilling/tapping to a larger-size bolt and then having one bolt that's an oddball size.

Just got a helicoil set. Almot $30 but now I have 9 spares for a pretty popular size bolt.
