SEARCH and read the cam guide sticky for answers to what you need before you get cam. Seriously, you are stock, you are not ready for a cam yet.

Gears if M6, stall if A4, power bolt-ons (especially headers)....

wouldn't running that duration / lift combo on a 112 lsa require flycutting of the pistons on a stock-head motor? that seems like a bit much for a stock cid engine. i've been reading about cams and tolerances for awhile now, and i think those specs sound a little extreme. i would assume that the duration is similar to that of the g5x3 on 112, and lg strongly recommends flycutting with that cam in a stock-head motor.

Hmm thats a pretty big cam, I've been wondering about their cams as well, for the price its a great deal, although I don't know how they perform. I talked with them and am looking at getting the 228/236 551/600 114 cam. I want mine on a 112 and exhaust at 551 as well as intake, this way I save on spring life, they said I could custom the cam this way without problem and still pay the 354 price. I would look at something smaller or have them custom grind you a cam, unless that is an all out drag car, then go with the big cam.

I dont really think cutting lift down like that would help spring life to a point where it would make a difference.
your still gona have the duration there, and the rpm also.
