Default Help with cam and stall selection.

How would my car behave/perform with a HPE S-Cam-238/242, .608/612 on a 115 LSA and a TCI 3500 stall? All of My current mods in sig.

Needs more stall. Looks awfully similer to my MS3 but on a wider LSA (237/242 .603/.609 113). I installed it when I had a 3500 stall speed and then restalled to 4000. The 3500 just wasn't enough.

A 3500 will be enough. We've put them in cars with 3200 and it was adequate. Too small and it bogged, but it drove alright. We usually use vigilante 3600 stalls with the S cam.

Aren't Vig Stalls underated so a 3600 is more like a 4000?

Vigs are definately underrated. A vig3600 will stall 3800-4000. I agree that cam needs a tad more stall to be used to it's full potential. I would either step down the cam to something like a 232/232 112 or step up the stall to 4000. If you call Kevin you can probably work out something on getting the converter restalled.

But a 3500 stall should still work just not quite as well as a 3800-4200 would.
