Default Ported Heads and Rocker Bolts

How much interference do the rocker arm bolts protruding into the intake port cause? Is it better to leave them stick into the intake port or grinding them down slightly? If so, how much?

If you want to see just torque the rockers to spec off the car and measure the protrudence.

Ideally you would grind them down perfectly flush with the roof of the intake port. It's probably worth a few CFM and a few HP to the tire when the smoke clears but not enough to lose sleep over if you weren't up to the task. For someone looking for "all the money" out of their combo though, I certainly recommend you take the time to do it. Just like degreeing a cam or something similar....a little more time spent will help yield better finished results.
