Default oil pan/bottom end

I read a long time ago about when seriously driving (road course..etc)your ls1 motor that sometimes the oil pan &pump has hit a dry spot (written on the idaho vette page on the net) I do not know if this issue was resolved in or by the 01 year..in f-bodies since the motors are the same as the vette but I was wondering if this still happens on 01 cars (as i have one) and we are thinking about getting a new stronger bottom end....pushrods....retainers...springs and such

Default

The issue will never be resolved in any car until it's converted to a dry sump oiling system. You won't have to worry about it unless you do some serious autox
